Between the 11.04.2025 and the 16.04.2025 the Feminale Basel will take place at the Music Academy for the very first time. This festival is organized by students for students, with the goal of bringing female composers to the stages of our Music Academy. Workshops, discussions, and concerts will be held throughout the days of the Feminale.

While the general concerts will feature works by various women composers, the “Portrayconcert, Femmage à…” will focus solely on the music of the following four composers:

- Francesca Caccini (Baroque)

- Marianna Martinez (Classical)

- Fanny Hensel (Romantic)

- Lili Boulanger (Expressionism)
