I am the silent voice singing in a house of books…

Who knows what secrets I may reveal across the bridge of untraveled time ?

Research

Aurore is currently undertaking research about the musical culture and tradition of North-Western Europe in the high Middle-Ages, from Aquitaine to the British Isles, investigating local identity and migrations.

Her coming master thesis (2025) will focus on the earliest preserved lithurgical sources from Bretagne, in particular through the study of manuscripts from the scriptorium of Landevennec's ancient monastery.

As a performer, she takes a special interest in the reconstruction of medieval narrative performance, in particular related to the “Matière de Bretagne”.

Concert Programs

Using interdisciplinarity, Aurore joins artistic and academic background into the creation of her concert programms. With the aim of sharing early music to a broader audience, her creations are based on historically informed early music practice, and led by a coherent storyline, often staging together music, poetry and theatre.
